rockartoregon.com launched April 2013 as a component of the To Become Visible project as an evolving virtual presence.

The project's focus is to inspire respect by presenting a selection of the author's selected photographs of petroglyphs of Oregon, the Great Basin, and the Northwest.

The project
- Examines environmental and social contexts, cultural meanings, and representations of rock art, petroglyph boulders, and related landscapes.
- Emphasizes relocation, restoration, preservation, display, documentation, and the transformation and presentation of rock art imagery as icons and logos referred to as Petrologos.
- Expands inquiry to include markings, signals, gestures, and displays in public and mediated spaces with t
he VISIBILIA index.
