Multigenerations of Petroglyphs
The petroglyphs in this series appear along one two-mile rim near the southern border of Hart Mountain Antelope Refuge in the High Dry Lakes country of Lake County. The series visually demonstrates the multi-generational use of this site by peoples during intermittent sequences spanning thousands of years. The images are selected for their distinct designs, styles, and techniques, with attention to the stone matix, patina, weather, and site orientation. All were photographed over a three-day period in September 2013.
